WEATHER CONDITIONS

From all the correspondence seen tonight, it seems like the weather in the Bromsgrove and Redditch areas is unlikely to sufficiently improve in time for tomorrow morning.

Therefore as long as the match referee has been consulted and your opponents consulted too, clubs may postpone their games tonight if they so wish to avoid everybody turning out in the morning.

This is an exception to the normal rule of waiting till Sunday morning, due to the extreme weather experienced this afternoon.

HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE THE 3G GAMES AT STUDLEY ARE STILL 'ON' AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT IN TIME AND STUDLEY SPORTS CENTRE WILL UPDATE IN THE MORNING ACCORDINGLY.

Henley United
Registered Players of Henley United FC have now received individual letters advising what their individual share of the club's debt is - Each player must pay this to the League within the next 21 days or the debt will be passed onto the County FA.

Once individual players clear their payments, names will appear on the suspension tab of the website. It is at this point in time that they will then be free to register for another Bromsgrove League team.

LEAGUE STATEMENT - TUESDAY 17TH JANUARY 2012

It is with regret that we have to announce the resignation of Henley United FC from Bromsgrove and District Football League Division 1.

We will now expunge their records from the league table and re-issue both this and a revised set of goalscorer/motm statistics as soon as is possible.

No Henley United player will be able to transfer/re-sign within the Bromsgrove League until such time as the clubs debts are paid off in full or passed over to the County FA as part of the football debt recovery process

AFC Ipsley v Henley United this coming Sunday is now OFF and AFC Ipsley will receive a walkover into the Bridgwater Cup Semi-Finals. For those teams who were due to play Henley United on January 29th and February 5th, please assume you will still have a game on these dates as we will try to juggle the fixtures to ensure you have a game - Please await further information.

THE BROMSGROVE LEAGUE FORUM RETURNS

We have decided to re-launch the league forum after a short time without the 'chatroom' being online; Although the chatroom was a popular tool, it was becoming nigh on impossible to keep control of it because of the ability to post abusively, anonymously, without any recourse.........The forum does have a little bit more control in that users have to register their email addresses and IP addresses/users can be traced.

We were probably a little bit 'o.t.t' with the moderating last time, which rightly put many people off, so we have decided we are going to let more go this time and allow more freedom for you to have your say - That's not to say people can't express opinions or ask pertinent searching questions, but please keep it clean and sensible especially given the FA's current stance towards inappropriate remarks on social networking/websites. Unfortunatly Big Brother is watching from afar!

In order to start with a clean slate and start as we mean to carry on, we have deleted and wiped all previous usernames/email addresses/posts, so you will need to re-join in order to post.

We hope that you will join in and please remember that we are still the only league in Worcestershire who offers any sort of 'interaction' between clubs, players etc via its website.

We look forward to your interaction.
